Intimate Wedding in Plymouth, MA
MaryBeth and Kyle had a gorgeous Fall wedding day in Plymouth, MA. After some changes to their plans, a Plimoth Plantation wedding just didn’t make sense with everything going on. They decided to still have their ceremony at The Church of St. Peter and then celebrate at their family’s home.
Two of the most selfless people I’ve ever met, combined with sweet families and friends, makes for an excellent day to capture! Their big day started at the hotel with hair and make up, before we headed to the Church for their ceremony. With a smile and a wink, MB and Kyle were announced as husband and wife. The Church of St. Peter is beautiful and I just love the cascading staircase down. So naturally we had to do some photos out front before heading to the reception. Also, since the street wasn’t too busy, we totally stopped traffic for a minute to snag a couple of pictures of the happy couple with the sun beaming down on them.
Once at their family’s home, it became even more evident how caring this couple really is. Before pictures and enjoying their reception, they helped pass out the individually packaged food, set up drinks, and plenty of sanitizer. MB and Kyle truly wanted to make sure that everyone was safe while still having fun on their wedding day. They even served everyone their meals from behind a handmade structure (by Dad) and in matching Mr. and Mrs. aprons. The preparation and everyone jumping in to help to make this day special is really what love is all about.
The Maid of Honor and Best Man’s speeches emphasized what amazing individuals they both are and also how these two are meant for each other. But the tears and laughs caused by the Father of the Bride’s speech, really drove this home. It’s always fun to hear the perspectives of the best friends and the families on how the couple met, when everyone else found out and also the couple’s initial reaction to each other 😉
By the end of the night, the champagne was flowing and it was time for their “cupcake” cutting. I loved the face-off attitude while getting ready to feed each other… who was going to make a move first! Kyle caught MB with a little bit of frosting, but MB was quick and backed off before it was squished onto her face. She put her game face on and tried to get Kyle back, before giving each other a big kiss.
As the fire pit started up to provide a spot to warm up and the dancing started under the market lights, this newly wed couple was ready to celebrate their amazing life ahead!
Congratulations to MaryBeth and Kyle! Thank you so much for letting me capture your wedding day. Wishing you a lifetime of laughs and love- always!
XO,
Moe
