Boston Engagement Session along the Charles River- Ann and Jack
This adorable couple is on the blog today! When I first talked to Ann on the phone, I knew this was a couple I would enjoy working with. She was super sweet and had an infectious laugh! Ann told me her and Jack had met online. She was almost done with online dating when she took the date with Jack and the rest is history!
When mentioning what to bring to engagement sessions, I say props or meaningful items are always encouraged. Ann and Jack did not disappoint. They brought their t-shirts from their first concert together that Ann planned for Jack. They also brought along a piece of quartz… random right. Nope – I love this story!! They both play a video game in which Ann was giving the person she was to marry on the game – quartz. So when the time came that Jack knew he was going to marry Ann what did he give her… quartz! I mean… how freaking cute right?
They couldn’t have picked a better night or setting for their engagement session. Ann and Jack requested walking along the Charles River in Boston, MA to have some city backdrop. Being July, you never know what the weather might be. We’ve been in a crazy heat wave, that sparks up thunderstorms. But their night – it was perfect! Which also meant that the Esplanade was jam packed with people running, biking, and lounging on the docks. We were happy to share their engagement session night with everyone else 😉
These two made each other laugh and smile the entire time. While I was setting my camera, my lights or having Andrea grab something I needed, I’d look and these two would be giggling away. Here are some of my favorites from the session. I’m excited to capture all the fun at their Wayside Inn wedding in November.
Enjoy! xo
