Felicia and Evan- A gorgeous outdoor wedding
When I first met Felicia and Evan last year, they had much of their big day planned, but still hadn’t found a photographer that they had connected with. Well little did they know that after a conversation about rum drinking that they might have found someone! I remember getting in the car after our meeting saying I would be devastated if I didn’t get to capture their Big Day. Luckily- they chose me.
After a fun engagement session last fall, I really couldn’t wait for their wedding. We chatted the whole time and it sounded like they had an amazing group coming to the wedding. Well- 2020- touché. The email came in that plans were changing and my heart broke that these guys would have to replan for this year or next.
These two kept planning their day though and were able to find another ceremony spot in Rhode Island, at a country club’s beautiful little garden. Then the phone call came in- regulations changed and Felicia and Evan were forced to replan again! This time they only had 3 days!
Thankfully, Evan’s aunt, has a gorgeous backyard they could use to hold their small wedding. And it was perfect.
We started at their house to take some getting ready photos before Evan went to his aunt’s for final prep. Once at the house, Felicia got into her STUNNING gown. It really could not have been a more perfect wedding dress for her. Although, Felicia was calm and all smiles throughout the morning, it became real as she peeked out the garage window. Everyone was ready, seated only feet away and there was Evan at the front of the aisle. She dabbed away tears and then came walking down the aisle with a smile from ear to ear. Evan beamed at his bride-to-be as she walked down and held in all his emotions. He could barely look at Felicia for long during the ceremony because he was trying not to cry. When he did look though, it was with a big smile. This gorgeous couple had lots of laughs during the ceremony and sealed the deal with a huge kiss at the end. They were married.
Felicia and Evan- you guys are amazing and I hope you have a lifetime of smiles and the best laughs. And of course I hope to see you for a rum and coke soon. In the meantime, enjoy some of my favorites from your wedding.

Moe
