Elegant Summer wedding at Foxborough Wedding Venue
This venue exudes pretty and modern, so when you think elegant summer wedding, look no further than Lakeview Pavilion. Sue and Mark’s daytime celebration was just that, elegant. When I first spoke with Sue, she was excited and so happy. This was her second marriage and she was looking for someone who would just capture the fun and the happiness of the day. They were planning a fun afternoon wedding with their closest friends and family.
When I arrived, I met Mark, his sons and Sue’s son. They all looked so handsome and Mark could not have been more welcoming. He’s kind, funny, and I knew that he would was the type of groom that I would love photographing. He puts everyone at ease and likes to have a good time. We took some candids at the venue, while we waited for Sue to arrive. Boy did she arrive, looking absolutely stunning- like a Hollywood actress. I mean that dress was so sexy and elegant! We captured a few photos with both of their moms and got ready for Sue’s son to walk her down the aisle. Mark’s face said it all as she came around the corner- beaming!
Mark’s best friend was able to be their officiant and he was quite funny. You could never tell how nervous he had been, almost to the point of not doing it! The ceremony was so sweet as they read their own vows and capped it off with a sand ceremony with their sons. I seriously am so lucky to photograph the weddings I do. They are just so special. From there we did some fun wedding party photos, family photos and then we tried to stay cool in the shade for their formal portraits. I’m thankful to the event directors for letting us sneak outside to the front for some fun portraits on the other side too. The inside design perfectly matched the elegant summer wedding with its tall vases full of whites and pinks, as well as the bright pink uplighting for a pop!
We were treated to some heartfelt speeches from their sons and Sue’s best friend, before the party kicked off. I have to tell you- afternoon weddings need to be a thing! It was SO MUCH FUN! Everyone was ready to dance and have a good time. There was no tiring out since it was late or because it had been a long day. Even Sue’s gorgeous mother was dancing at over 90 years old! These two could not stop smiling and having a good time. I loved every minute of it. Sue and Mark opted to do an Italian cookie bar for their guests and fed each other those instead of a cake. If you’re looking for something different, you need to check out – Only the Finest– for a DELICIOUS treat!
The party ended with a last dance in the ballroom that was ever so sweet…
Enjoy some of my favorites!
xoxo,
Moe
